As part of Democracy Week 2018, KS3 enjoyed a visit to County Hall in Morpeth, where they learned about Britain’s democratic parliamentary system and its central role in shaping our history and values. The children were able to spend time in the impressive Council Chamber with NCC Councillors. We were proud of how confidently and clearly pupils expressed themselves in front of an audience as they posed an excellent range of well-considered questions on local, national and global issues.
