As part of their KS3 science programme, Y8 pupils enjoyed a full day at the Centre for Life in Newcastle. Here, their focus was on space, time and the atomic model, building on their prior learning from the curriculum. Our oldest students also gained great insight into conditions on the International Space Station and the key factors behind a successful space mission. It is good to know that BMS pupils are fully prepared, should any of them ever decide on a career as an astronaut!
