Y6 children have had an action-packed return to school with the much-anticipated Circus Themed Mega Machines STEM day, hosted by scientists from the Centre for Life. After experimenting with gears, levers and pulleys, the whole year group collaborated on a Wallace and Gromit style ‘machine’ to deliver a custard pie to a volunteer member of staff. Our thanks must go to Mrs Pattinson, who delighted the pupils by being on the receiving end.
