School Equipment

We expect all pupils to take responsibility so that they are ready to learn, and each morning during Tutor Time we use our Ready to Learn Mats to show we are prepared.  Being prepared for a day in school means that we avoid wasting time in our lessons, and can get straight on with the job at hand. 

In order for pupils to get the maximum out of their time in lessons, it is important that they have a pencil case containing the following basic equipment:

• A pen (and a back-up pen..!)
• A purple pen
• A pencil
• A ruler
• A rubber
• A pencil sharpener is always handy, but we do have these available to borrow!
• A Pupil Planner, signed weekly by parents/carers.
• A reading book

Many pupils have additional equipment such as colouring pencils and a couple of highlighters which they often find useful. Everyone forgets something from time to time, or a pen runs out and we can always help in those situations.  If someone is forgetting to bring equipment every day, we'll let parents/carers know so that they can help with organisation from home.
