The Y7 and Y8 trip to Hawkhirst Activity Centre was a great success, with pupils rising to several physical and mental challenges. A fun day was had by all as they enjoyed: canoeing, raft building, pioneering and zip line. Staff were impressed with how well pupils further developed their understanding of the importance of teamwork, communication and leadership. The only downside to the day was being pestered by a swarm of midge, which certainly tested the resilience of all!
