Mr Opperman, the MP for our constituency, visited our school to meet with the Pupil Forum. He visited on the day our School Forum elections for our Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer were held and met with the successful candidates.
He also met with our class representatives who make up the rest of our Pupil Forum and answered a series of hard hitting questions from our pupils. He was treated to a Northumbrian pipes performance by one of our pupils who takes lessons in school. Our pupils enjoyed meeting with Mr Opperman very much and said that they had had an interesting and thought-provoking meeting with him.
